Our team is committed to educating our clients in how to keep their pets healthy year round, with good nutrition, parasite prevention, wellness planning and exercise.  Team OVC stays on top of the latest advances in veterinary technology and above all, knows that all animals and pets need to be treated with loving care in every check-up, procedure, or surgery.

Carmen Millham

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Dr. Millham graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. He founded the Outlook Veterinary Clinic in 2006. It has certainly been quite an experience watching the clinic grow over the years. He enjoys practicing general veterinary medicine and surgery, especially with a dedicated and caring team who are always looking to improve their clinical knowledge and skills.

Outside of the Veterinary Clinic, Dr. Millham is passionate about his cows and ranch life. He is always talking about his beloved Herefords and which ones are the best, and which shows they are off to next!

Steffanie McAdam

Director of Administration & Registered Veterinary Technician

Steffanie joined Outlook Veterinary Clinic in 2011 as a receptionist. She became a Registered Veterinary Technician after graduating from Thompson Rivers University and passed the VTNE June 2020. Along with her general technical duties, Steffanie has a passion for diagnostics and loves to be in the lab behind the microscope. Her goal is to become a Specialized RVT in Clinical Pathology.

When Steffanie isn’t in the lab or in the exam room with clients, she will be helping with the “back end” of practice management, fine-tuning our protocols, completing continuing education and being our in-house IT support.

Outside of the clinic, she is a wife, and mom of two boys who love dinosaurs and hockey. She has two cats at home as well as one dog.

Katelyn Brown

Registered Veterinary Technician

Katelyn graduated from the Veterinary Technician Program at Lakeland College in 2016. She then completed the required examinations to become a Registered Veterinary Technologist. She joined Outlook Veterinary Clinic upon graduation. Along with her general technical duties, Katelyn plays a key role in follow-up care for some of our chronic care patients, routinely discussing patient progress with pet owners and reporting her findings back to the appropriate veterinarian. She is passionate when it comes to large animal medicine, especially with cattle, horses and sheep.  Her special interests include equine medicine.

At home, Katelyn is a wife, and mother of twin daughters, and a newborn son. She helps with the family farm which includes cattle, horses and a large sheep flock. While Katelyn  is currently on maternity leave, we look forward to her rejoining our team in 2026.

Abby Munt

Registered Veterinary Technician

Abby joined our team in November 2024 as a new graduate from Lakeland College. She has moved back to Saskatchewan and is eager to improve the skills she learned in school and expand her knowledge of Veterinary Medicine. She enjoys working both large and small animals, but her passion is wildlife medicine.

Outside of the clinic, Abby spends a lot of time outdoors as a conservationist, hunting and trapping with her family. At home in Fort Mac she has two kitties; Buster & Tillie who love to cuddle and watch movies. But, she always makes sure that her farm cat Molly gets lots of love too!

Christa Woudwijk

Veterinary Assistant

Christa has been involved in Outlook Veterinary Clinic since she was a student at LCBI, as a volunteer student. Her passion for veterinary medicine has grown over the years, and she is currently working towards her long-term goal of becoming a Veterinarian.

This past year, she has been working on her client communication skills, as well as her technical skills for anesthesia, laboratory diagnostics and large animal handling to name a few. We hope that this year of mentorship will help her as she works towards her DVM goal!

When she is not in the clinic, Christa enjoys spending time with friends and family, during the winter she is an avid curler. She also works at a local cow-calf operation for calving season.

Linda Larocque

Receptionist

Linda joined our team as a receptionist in 2014 and our customers have been singing her praises since day one! She loves to make people and their pets feel welcome and excited to visit our veterinary hospital, which comes naturally with her infectious smile. Linda brings to the team her vast knowledge on animal behaviour due to her experience as a dog trainer and groomer. While she no longer offers these services privately, she is always willing to give advice to owners on how to help their pet relationships.

At home, Linda and her husband enjoy life on an acreage. They especially love the wildlife of their home, she speaks frequently of the birds and owls that nest nearby. Their real pride and joy is their fur babies: Minnie, Abby, Dolly & Ursa who keep them entertained!

Cadence Knapik

Receptionist

Cadence joined our team as a receptionist in summer of 2024. She recently graduated high school at OHS and has been enjoying the variety that veterinary medicine provides. Since joining our team, she has been learning a lot, and expanding her knowledge to better serve our clients and their pets.

Outside of the clinic, Cadence enjoys spending time with friends and family as well as pampering her puppy Koda!
